The printer will print a tag using the
format you just entered. The fields will
contain test data.
Your tag should look like this:
Now you’ve entered a sample format and printed test data in the
fields. To enter sample data in the fields and print the tag, follow
the steps in the next section, "Entering Sample Data."
To exit from format entry mode, press 1 until you see Select
Operating Mode.

Be sure you have followed the instructions in "Entering a Sample
Format" before you try to enter sample data.
