SECURITY

This feature prevents unauthorized use of your

DM-P100. The following settings can be restricted:

LOCK PHONE

Prevents the phone from being used without first

entering your password.

1. Press

[MENU]

, then enter your

Password.

QUICKNOTE

You have the following pre-loaded text for use as a

Quicknote.

In addition, you can save your own text as a

Quicknote.

1. Press

[MENU]

.

2. Press

[OK] to view the text.

3. To add new text to Quicknote, press

[ADD], enter

text and press

[SAVE] to save.

4. To delete a text from Quicknote, press

[OPTIONS],

select “Delete” and press

[OK].

5. To edit a text you have added to Quicknote,

press

[OPTIONS], select “Edit” and press

[OK].

TEXT ENTRY

Sets the default Input Mode. For example, if T9 Mode is

the default, its icon will appear.

1. Press

[MENU]

2. Use the NAV KEY to select “Abc [Alpha] Mode” or “T9

[WORD] Mode,” then press

[OK].

NOTE:
THE DEFAULT PASSWORD IS THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER.

, select “Lock Now, Lock on Power Up or

Unlock,” then press

[OK].

CHANGE LOCK CODE

Here's how to change your 4-digit password:

1. Press

[MENU]

, then enter your

Password.

2. Press

3. Enter your new password and press

[OK].

4. Re-enter your new password to confirm, and press

[OK].

NOTE:
THE DEFAULT PASSWORD IS THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER.
