OMR Transmission

General Description

This feature is designed to work with a store and forward system (i.e. UF-M500 Multi-Channel Fax Gateway)
that utilize the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet to obtain routing information to automatically relay fax
messages to its final destination.

When sending a document with the OMR-XMT feature set to ”On”, the process of the following 2 operations
will be changed

Automatic Page Re-transmission
When the OMR-XMT feature is set to ”On” and a memory transmission failure occurs, automatic
re-transmission will start from the 1st page including the OMR sheet rather than from the failed page.

Automatic Page Numbering
When the OMR-XMT is set to ”On”, the automatic page numbering on the header of each page will start
from the 2nd page instead of the 1st page, which is your OMR sheet.
