• RS485 SET UP

You can remote control this camera by using a speci-
fied extension unit such as personal computer with a
modem.
Move the cursor to RS485 in the SET UP menu and
press

I. The RS485 SET UP menu appears on the

monitor screen.

Unit Number Setting
This item lets you select the camera number for RS-485
communication.

1. Move the cursor to the UNIT NUMBER parameter.
2. Select the camera number to be used with RS-485

communication.
The initial factory setting is 1.

Baud Rate Setting
This item is lets you select the transmission speed for
RS-485 communication. (BAUD is the unit of bit per
second.)

1. Move the cursor to the BAUD RATE parameter.
2. Select the 19 200, 9 600, 4 800 or 2 400 bps for the

baud rate.
The initial factory setting is 19 200 bps.

Data Bit Setting
This item lets you select the number of data bits for RS-
485 communication.

1. Move the cursor to the DATA BIT parameter.
2. Select 7 or 8 bit for the number of data bits.

The initial factory setting is 8 bit.

Parity Check Setting
This item lets you select the parity bit for RS-485 com-
munication.

1. Move the cursor to the PARITY CHECK parameter.
2. Select NONE, EVEN or ODD for parity check.

The initial factory setting is NONE.

Stop Bit Setting
This item lets you select the number of stop bits for RS-
485 communication.

1. Move the cursor to the STOP BIT parameter.
2. Select 1 or 2 for the number of stop bits.

The initial factory setting is 1 bit.
