Password Selection

A password (numeric) can safeguard your directory entries and
programming. Forgetting your password may mean resetting the Teleset
to the manufacturer’s initial settings. You may lose all of your call records,
directory entries and programmed features/functions. If you are still
interested in a password, read on. But first, choose a password that you
won’t forget. Don’t write it down in an obvious place and NEVER share it!
The flowchart can show you a graphic view of programming.

THERE ARE THREE LEVELS OF PASSWORD PROTECTION:

1. LEVEL 1 – No password protection (default). All menus are

available to anyone - without a password.

2. LEVEL 2 – User information, such as directory and call logs, and

user settings (clock and alarm) are available without a password.
Access to configuration options require a password before access
is allowed.

3. LEVEL 3 – The third (highest) level of protection gives total menu

protection.
