Consult your system administrator for the preferred installation or
upgrade method.

Note 1: Disable sleep mode during the installation process.

Note 2: Before beginning the installation process, ensure that your
device has at least 10 MB of free hard drive space. If not, you will
have to quit the installation to free up additional space. You can add
more space by deleting unnecessary files or reducing the size of the
Internet Explorer cache.

Note 3: If you are upgrading from an earlier release, you must
perform an initial software installation, not an upgrade. After the
installation, update the Server IP/Host address on the Login
Information screen if instructed to do so by your system administrator.

Installing or upgrading from a computer

With this method, you add the software to your computer, connect your
computer to the mobile device with a USB cable, and then install the
software by using Microsoft ActiveSync.
