Native dialpad

In some circumstances, you can choose to use the native dialpad rather
than the MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile to place your calls. For example,
if you need to place an emergency 911 call, use the native dialpad.

Using the native dialpad

Press the green Talk button on your mobile device while a Windows
mobile screen is in focus. The native dialpad immediately appears.

Dial an emergency number on the MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile
dialpad and select Call.

Provided that the system recognizes the number as an emergency
number, the system automatically switches to the native dialer and
places the call over the cellular network.

Note: Whenever you place a call or execute a telephony feature, the
native dialpad briefly appears; it is then replaced by the Phone pane
of the mobile device.
