TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOMS
CAUSE
REMEDY
Vibration
Loose Bolts
Check all bolts and tighten to
recommended torque specifications in this
section
Cutter assembly
a. Check for damaged blades, disc,
unbalanced or cutter shaft.
b. Replace if needed.
c. Check for wire, rope, etc. entangled in
the cutter assembly
Mower will not lift
Hydraulic Fluid Low
Check and refill Hyd Fluid
Leaks in line
Tighten or replace fittings and hoses
Faulty relief valve
Check pressure in line. Line
pressure in Control Valve should be at
least 2500 P.S.I.
Kinked or blocked
Clean or replace lines
Faulty cylinder
Inspect, repair or replace cylinder
Oil Temperature rises
Low oil level above 200°F
Bring oil to proper level.
Kinked/blocked hoses
Inspect / Repair / Replace
Worn pump/motor
Disable and Repair
Mower will not start or run
Blown fuse
Check fuse between mower switch
and ignition / replace
Ball valves closed
Make sure valves are open
Low oil level
Check Hyd. tank and fill
Line leak
Check all fittings and lines,
re-tighten or replace
Electronic solenoid faulty
a. Without the tractor running, turn the
mower switch to on. A low audible click is
not heard if the solenoid is engaging the
solenoid spool. If click is not heard, leave
switch in on position and with a
screwdriver or other steel object, touch the
small nut on the end of the solenoid. If the
metallic object is not attracted to the nut,
check the fuse and wiring for an open
circuit. If the object is attracted but no
“click” is heard, replace the solenoid.
