7. Safety

Only qualified contractors should carry out installation,
commissioning, maintenance and repair of the appliance.

7.1 General safety instructions

We guarantee trouble-free operation and operational reliability
only if the original accessories and spare parts intended for the
appliance are used.

7.2 Instructions, standards and regulations

Observe all applicable national and regional regulations
and instructions.

8. Appliance description

8.1 Standard delivery

Delivered with the appliance:

— Mounting bracket

— Spacers (2 pce. for above, 2 pce. for underneath)

— Caps (2 pce.)

— Installation template

8.2 accessories

Required accessories
Depending on the static pressure, safety assemblies and pressure
reducing valves are available. These type-tested safety assemblies
protect the appliance against unacceptable excess pressure.

Further accessories
The load shedding relay activates the priority control during
operation of the appliance when you are simultaneously
operating another appliance, such as an electric storage heater
(for connection, see chapter "Specification / Wiring diagrams and
connections").

9. Installation

9.1 Installation location

The appliance is exclusively designed for installation on a solid
wall. Ensure the wall offers adequate load bearing capacity.

Always install the appliance vertically in a room free from the risk
of frost and near to a hot water draw-off point.

9.2 Installation

9.2.1 Securing the mounting bracket

You can use the installation template to transfer the dimensions
to the wall.

Drill the holes and secure the mounting bracket with screws and
rawl plugs. Select fixing materials in accordance with the wall
construction/condition.

You can compensate for unevenness in the wall with the 5mm
thick spacers.

9.2.3 Water installation
Cold water line
Steel or copper pipes or plastic pipework are approved as materials.

A safety valve is required.

DHW line
Copper is approved as a material.

Risk of damage
The appliance is not suitable for the use of plastic
piping for the DHW line.
