Answer a Second Incoming Call

(Available in H.323 phones only)

If your phone is set to use the H.323 protocol, you have the option of
using two access lines for incoming and outgoing calls (Line 1 and Line
2
) and a third access line for outgoing calls only (Inquiry). All lines have
the same extension number. This feature is called triple access line.

You normally make and receive calls on Line 1, and you make inquiry
calls by tapping the Inquiry button. Line 1 is the main line for incoming
and outgoing calls. Line 2 is reserved for incoming calls when Line 1 is
busy, and Inquiry is reserved for outgoing calls when Line 1 is busy.

When you tap line key, the ongoing call is automatically put on hold. To
terminate the ongoing call, press C before answering the second call by
tapping the line button.

Before you can use the triple access line you have to activate Free on
2nd line
by tapping

in the middle right area of the display. When

Free on 2nd line is activated, a second incoming call is indicated by a
blinking Line 2 button and a presentation of number (and possibly name)
of the second caller.
