7.2.9 Adding Logs to the Media Loaded on the
Player Area
Definition
The logs are reference points that can be placed wherever needed on the media loaded
on the Player. Their purpose is to mark points of interest on the media and to facilitate
rapid movement between them.
Users can distinguish internal logs, created from CleanEdit, from external logs, created
from IPDirector.
Internal and External Logs
Internal Logs
The internal logs are placed by the user on the media loaded on the Player.
They are shown on the media bar as yellow triangles. When the nowline is on the
timecode of an internal log, a yellow triangle is also displayed at the bottom of the video
display.
