External Logs
The external logs correspond to logs created in IPDirector.
When the media containing such logs is referenced in CleanEdit and loaded on the
Player, the external logs are shown on the media bar as transparent triangles. Their
outline color depends on the interest rating assigned to them in IPDirector.
•
White log for no-star ranking (default)
•
Blue log for 1-star ranking
•
Green log for 2-star ranking
•
Red log for 3-star ranking
There is always a black stripe below the video display when external logs are present on
the loaded media/clip. When the nowline is on the timecode of an external log, a
transparent triangle also appears on the left of this black stripe. If keywords have been
associated to the log, they are written next to the triangle and they are displayed as a
tooltip when you roll the mouse over the log.
