Reinstall the Shackle
Reinstall the shackle reusing previous hardware. Ensure proper mating of the leaf spring
to the axel. When assembling rear shackle bolt through frame bushing, make sure the
head of the bolt facing away from the gas tank and then place the other half of the
shackle through the leaf spring bushing where the head of the bolt is facing toward the
gas tank. Do not fully tighten the nuts to the shackle until the car is at ride height to
prevent damage to the leaf spring bushings.
