Remove the template from page

13 of this manual. Using scissors, cut
out the template.

Attach the template on the dash

panel as shown in Figure 12. Tape
the template to the dash panel to
hold it in place. NOTE: Be careful to
properly align the template on the

dash. An improperly located
template will cause the switch body
to contact the inner dash panel. If
switch body contacts inner dash
panel, trim inner dash panel with a
file or similar tool.

Using a

" drill bit, drill a

mounting hole for switch through

previously attached template. Remove
the template and tape. De-burr the

2

" hole with a small file or fine

sandpaper.

46.

Attach the three (3) switch wires

to switch as shown in Figure 13.

Remove the outer locking ring

from the shaft of the switch assembly
and install the switch from the back
side of the dash panel with the notch
in the shaft facing downward. Slide
the provided face plate over the shaft
of the switch to indicate switch
position. Thread the locking ring onto
the shaft of the switch body. The
depth of the switch may be changed
by adjusting the location of the back
nut on the switch shaft.

48.

Re-install lower dash panel

using two (2) previously removed
screws.

49.

Secure harness away from any

sharp edges or heat source using
supplied zip ties.

Re-install lower dash panel

using two (2) previously removed
screws.
