24.

Remove lower dash panel by

the lower corners of the panel.

25.

Locate the

" hole in the firewall

(see Figure 6). The hole can be located
from the engine compartment. It will be
necessary to pull the insulation away
from the firewall slightly to gain access to
the hole. Remove the plastic cover from
the firewall to expose the hole. Using a
hole saw, uni-bit, file, or die grinder,
enlarge the hole to 1".

26.

Feed the wire harness through the

hole in the firewall from the inside of the
cab. Start with the end of the harness
with the brown, gray, and orange wires.
Continue until the green and black wire
pair is through the hole. NOTE: Feed
wires through firewall carefully to ensure
that the harness is not damaged.

27.

Slide the supplied rubber grommet

over the harness until the grommet is on
the main branch of the harness between
the green and black wire pair and the
firewall. (The grommet may be slit to
ease installation). Install the grommet
into the 1" hole in the firewall.

28.

Route the orange wire towards the

pcm connector. Locate the gray wire with
black stripe at the PCM connector (pin
58). Install a red T-tap on the gray wire
with black stripe. Plug the connector from
the orange lead on the harness into the
red T-tap. See Figure 7.
