Attach rear portion of exhaust

system to lower turbine outlet pipe
using the factory exhaust flange and
two (2) previously removed bolts.
NOTE: Lightly tighten the exhaust
flange at this time, it may be
necessary to adjust the pipes prior to
final tightening of the flange.

10.

Re-install previously removed

exhaust hanger/bracket located
immediately behind the transmission
cross-member using the two (2)
previously removed retaining nuts.

11.

Adjust upper turbine outlet pipe

until the clearance between the pipe
and surrounding hardware is
maximized.

12.

Tighten factory exhaust flange at

intermediate pipe/lower turbine
outlet pipe interface.

13.

Tighten exhaust clamp at the

interface between the upper and
lower turbine outlet pipes. Torque
clamp to 35 ft-lbs.

14.

Tighten V-band clamp on outlet

of turbine to 88±15 in-lbs (not ft-lbs).

INSTALLATION

15.

Attach the supplied solenoid

valve to its mounting bracket using
the two (2) supplied 4-40 x .875"
screws, washers and nylock nuts (see
Figure 3).

16.

Install the 90º hose fittings into

solenoid valve ports marked “#1”
and “#2”.
