Bottom Panel Connections
All connectors are on the bottom of the FPC 5500 (see figure
6).
NOTE: The only actively used connection when connected to a matrix is the Ethernet
connection.

Power switch — This switch turns the FPC 5500 on or off. Press the power switch to
power on the controller and load the FPC 5500 software.

Power Input connector (Phoenix type) — Connect a Phoenix type power cord
between the rear panel power input connector and the included external power supply.

USB 2.0 ports — The USB 2.0 ports can be used together with a USB flash drive or an
external USB CD-ROM drive to update the FPC 5500 software.

COM ports — These ports are not used with the FPC 5500.

VGA — This connector is not used with the FPC 5500.
