Chapter 12: Remote Control Protocols
Seek <Channel list> <frameno>
Seek to a position in the file. The position is specified as a frameno.
The Player will respond with:
OK “channel ‘X’ cued”/”channel ‘’ playing” or ERROR
Note: This will seek to the next closest index point (i.e. I frame) to the frameno
Audioon <Channel list>
Turn audio on for the requested channel.
The Player will respond with:
OK or ERROR
Audiooff <Channel list>
Mute the audio on the requested channel.
The Player will respond with:
OK or ERROR
Volume <Channel list> <right> <left>
Set the audio output level between 0 and 100 (inclusive; this is a percentage of the maximum output level) for
each side of the stereo audio output.
Example: Volume 1 90 90 = Player 1 outputs 90% of maximum audio. Note: Ensure that values for <right> and
<left> are the same.
The Player will respond with:
OK or ERROR
Videoon <Channel list>
Turn on video for the requested channel.
The Player will respond with:
OK or ERROR
Videooff <Channel list>
Turn off (“Mute”) video on the required channel.
The Player will respond with:
OK or ERROR
