Gigabit Ethernet port

The Gigabit Ethernet port conforms to the IEEE 802.3 1000BASE-T standard for
Gigabit Ethernet over copper. AVT recommends using Category 6 or higher com-
patible cabling and connectors for best performance.

The Prosilica GX offers two Gigabit Ethernet ports. This interface is enabled
using Link aggregation. A link aggregation group (LAG) is automatically config-
ured on the camera when both ports are connected. The host computer requires
a dual port, LAG capable Ethernet adapter. The LAG group needs to be config-
ured by the user.
