Installation

DR 3900 installation

1.

Position the SIP 10 to the left of the photometer.

2.

Clean the Pour-Thru Cell with a lint-free cloth.

3.

Place the Pour-Thru Cell into the cell compartment of the

photometer according to the required path length.

4.

Cut a piece of tubing no longer than 40 cm (1.3 ft) for the feed tube.

5.

Connect one end of the feed tube to the IN connection of the Pour-

Thru Cell.

6.

Connect the other end of the feed tube to the stainless steel tube

adapter and place this in the zero-solution/sample vessel.

7.

Cut a piece of tubing approx. 30 cm (1 ft) long for the connection

tube.

8.

Connect the connection tube to the OUT connection of the Pour-

Thru Cell and the input connection of the peristaltic pump.

9.

Use the remaining tubing as a discharge tube, and connect one

end to the output connection of the peristaltic pump.

10. Place the other end of the discharge tube in a suitable waste

vessel.

11. Connect the SIP 10 USB cable to a USB port on the photometer.

N O T I C E

Make sure that tubes are not bent.
Check the fill level of the waste vessel regularly.

N O T I C E

There may be residual amounts of fluid in the tubes. Always wear suitable
protective clothing and goggles when changing the tubes or when performing
maintenance work in order to prevent contamination of the skin or eyes.

N O T I C E

Connect the device directly to the photometer via the USB cable.
Do not use a USB hub connection.
