The zero measurement is shown on the display.

Place the feed tube in the sample solution and press READ.
The sample solution is pumped in over the selected SIP time. Once
the settle time has passed, the measurement is taken.
Note: The remaining time is shown on the display. Press CANCEL
to stop the operation.

Note: If the PURGE START: AUTO setting has been activated in
the Sipper options menu, the rinse agent is pumped in automatically
after measurement.

Note: Either deionized water or the next sample can be used as a
rinse agent.

The measurement result is shown on the display.

For the tests listed in

Table 1

, an additional purge cycle of the Pour-Thru

Cell with deionized water is required between samples.

The Dual Path Length Pour-Thru Cell, 1 inch/1 cm can also be used for
the Nessler Method for nitrogen and TKN if cleaned correctly. For this,
pour a few sodium thiosulfate crystals into the cell to clean it. Rinse out
the crystals with deionized water.
The use of the Pour-Thru Cell is not possible for the tests listed in

Table 2

, since chemical problems or other complications can occur. Use

the sample cell specified in the procedural instructions for these tests.
