Troubleshooting
Error messages
Potential SIP 10 errors are displayed by the photometer.

Error displayed Cause Resolution
Sipper module not
connected.
Please check cable. Connection between
SIP 10 and photometer
is disrupted.
Check the USB cable.
The cable length must not
exceed 1 m (3.3 ft) and the
cable must be directly
connected to the photometer.
Remove other devices that are
connected where necessary.
Please check sipper
and tube. Pump tubing is not
correctly inserted.
Loosen the cover and position
again. Where required, run the
pump briefly before the lever is
moved to make sure that the
tube is correctly positioned
around the rollers.
