Section 5 Maintenance
The cleanliness of the measurement windows in the sensor head is decisive for the
accuracy of the measurement results!
Check the measurement windows for dirt and wear once a month.
5.1 Maintenance schedule
5.2 Clean the measurement windows
The windows are made of sapphire glass. The measurement windows can be cleaned
with any conventional cleaning agent and a soft cloth.
In the case of stubborn deposits, it is recommended that 5 % hydrochloric acid is used.

The probe must not be opened. Work on the inside of the probe may only be carried out by the
manufacturer.

The probe (especially the type plate) must not come into contact with acetone or p-Xylene, or any
liquids containing these solvents.
