Trouble Shooting
No Spark 8 Channel Mode:
Note: DO NOT Probe the Coil Output Harness. High voltage may cause INJURY.
If you need to check the Coil Output Harness, unplug it from the DIS 8.
No Spark At Coil
Wire
Check Power on Pin"A" on the
Power Connector for 12 Volts
Does it have
Power?
YES
No
Check
Gound/Power
Supply
YES
Check for 12V at pin "E" &
"F" on the coil intput harness
No
Tap the A coil input to
ground at least 5 times with
the key "ON"
No
Repair Open/Short
on switched 12 volt
wire to pin "E" or "F"
on Coil input
Yes
Does the
corresponding coil
fire?
Channel OK
Does it have
Power?
Replace the coil with a
know good one
Does the coil fire?
Yes NO
Channel OK Repair DIS Unit
