No Spark Cam/Crank Mode:
Note: DO NOT Probe the Coil Output Harness. High voltage may cause INJURY.
If you need to check the Coil Output Harness, unplug it from the DIS 8.
No Spark At Coil

Check
Power/Ground
Supply
Check for 12 volts at
pin "E" & "F" on the
coil Input Harness
Is there 12 volt
Power?
YES
NO
Repair shorted/
open 12 volt wire to
the Coil Input
Harness
Unplug the Coil Output Harness.
Check for continuitiy from the Coil
Output Harness to the Coils.
NO
Does the coil fire?
Yes
NO
Repair DIS Unit
Channel OK
Is there continuity from the Coil
Output Harness to the Coils.
Repair open/shorted
power wire to coil.
YES
Using the handheld controller select
Diagnostic / Cam/Crank Trigger
Is there a letter "T" on the screen while
cranking?
NO Repair Crank/ Cam Signal Input.
The DIS 8 is not receiving the
trigger signal .
YES
Replace the coil
with a known good
Coil.
