3.2 Before starting up for the first
time
3.2.1 Initial instruction
Instructions to operators are required
before putting the machine into service.
Only technicians from your local autho-
rized Minuteman dealer are allowed to
provide initial instruction on the ma-
chine. The manufacturing plant will no-
tify the dealer immediately after
delivering the vehicle and the dealer will
contact you to arrange a date.
Practice all the operating steps
in an large area of space and
only use the machine when
you are familiar with its opera-
tion.
3.2.2 Initial battery charge
Before starting up the vehicle for the
first time, the battery to be used must be
fully charged according to the pre-
scribed initial battery charge process.
Also observe the information in the op-
erating manual enclosed with the char-
ger and the operating manual supplied
by the battery manufacturer in this
case. Minuteman assumes no liability
for damage to batteries resulting from
failing to complete the initial battery
charge process properly.
