Upgrade Information

Before you upgrade to v8.1, make sure that you perform the following
steps:

1.

Back up your database. See

Upgrade your database, if applicable. See

3.

Remove the previous version from your system. See

Custom Changes to ISRP

Custom modifications to ISRP are not preserved with ISRP upgrades. After
upgrading your ISRP application, any modifications will need to be reim-
plemented in the new installation. For questions about ISRP v8.x and pre-

Backing Up your Database

Create a backup copy of your database. You may back up your SQL Server
database by using SQL Server Management Studio, or by using the Intelli-
Track batch utility, backup.bat found in your application directory. For
complete data backup information, please refer to your User Manual or the
online help.

Warning: To ensure against loss of data, make sure that you have created a
backup copy of your database before removing the previous software ver-
sion. Do not remove your previous software version until you have created
a backup copy of your database.

Upgrading your Data

For ISRP v7.0 and higher, your data will automatically be updated to run in
ISRP v8.x during the installation process (i.e., your existing data will be
compatible with the new version of ISRP). If you are using a version prior
