Server: The machine on which the Microsoft SQL Server Desktop
Engine or the full version of SQL server resides. In order to run Intelli-
Track WMS , you must establish the server connection.

Database: The collection of data that is found in the WMS RF Server
application. In order to run IntelliTrack WMS RF Server, you must
establish the database connection.

Authentication: The method that IntelliTrack WMS RF Server uses to
validate your PC’s user status with your SQL Server login name and
password. When installing the WMS RF Server workstation applica-
tion, you must know your SQL Server Authentication type.

Data Link Properties Form: Displays the server name, server login
information, and the database name. It is accessible from your program
folder (C:\Program Files\IntelliTrack\WMS\RF
Server\DATA.UDL) by double-clicking on the DATA.UDL file or
from your WMS RF Server application: Options form\General tab >
Change Database button. You may change the server and/or database
location for the WMS RF Server application via this form.

Windows XP Firewall Exceptions

Important: This is an advanced Windows XP setting. Please consult your
network administrator before applying any firewall exceptions.

This section applies to computers that use Windows XP.

If you use Windows XP and it is required that the Windows Firewall
remain on, please note the following requirements:

The WMS RF Server application must be added as an exception.

A port for the portable devices must be added:
If you are using Windows CE devices with Telnet, add TCP Port 23;
If you are using DOS devices, add TCP Port 3000.
