2.7.2 Operating Temperature and Temperature Control
The maximum and minimum operating temperatures for the NANO-LX are listed below.
Minimum Operating Temperature: 0ºC (32°F)
Maximum Operating Temperature: 60°C (140°F)
A cooling fan and heat sink must be installed on the CPU. Thermal paste must be
smeared on the lower side of the heat sink before it is mounted on the CPU. Heat sinks
are also mounted on the Northbridge and Southbridge chipsets to ensure the operating
temperature of these chips remain low.
2.7.3 Power Consumption
Table 2-3 shows the power consumption parameters for the NANO-LX when an AMD®
Geode
TM
LX800 processor is running with one 256MB DDR 400MHz memory module.
