Date [mm:dd:yy]: Allows you to set the system date.

Time [Day hh/mm/ss]: Allows you to set the system time.

IDE Master and IDE Slave

When entering setup, BIOS auto detects the presence of IDE devices. This displays the status of

the auto detected IDE devices. The following IDE devices will be detected and are shown in the

Standard CMOS Features menu:

Secondary IDE Master

Secondary IDE Slave

The IDE Configuration menu (BIOS Menu 3) allows you to set or change the configurations for the

IDE devices installed in the system. If an IDE device is detected, and one of the above listed four

BIOS configuration options are selected, the IDE configuration options shown in Section 1.1.6

appear.

Drive A [1.44M, 3.5in]

The Drive A configuration option determines the type of floppy drive installed in the system. The

floppy drive configuration options are listed below.

Halt On

The Halt On category allows users to determine whether the computer will stop if an error is

detected during power up.

Whenever BIOS detects a non-fatal error the

system will be stopped and you will be

The system boot will not be stopped for any

errors that may be detected

All, But Keyboard

The system boot will not stop for a keyboard

error; it will stop for all other errors.

The system boot will not stop for a disk error;

it will stop for all other errors.
