Step 4:

Remove the DDR memory module by pulling both the spring retainer clips

outward from the socket.

Step 5:

Grasp the DDR memory module by the edges and carefully pull it out of the

socket.

Step 6:

Install the new DDR memory module by pushing it into the socket at an angle

Step 7:

Gently pull the spring retainer clips of the SO-DIMM socket out and push the

rear of the DDR memory module down (Figure 5-4).

Step 8:

Release the spring retainer clips on the SO-DIMM socket. They clip into place

and secure the DDR memory module in the socket.

5.5.2 CF Card Replacement

The AFL-08AH-N270-CR is preinstalled one CF Type II card. To replace the CF card,

follow the instructions below.

Step 1:

Follow all anti-static procedures

. See Section 5.2.

Step 2:

Turn off the power

. See Section 5.3.

Step 3:

Remove the back cover

. See Section 5.4.1.

Step 4:

Locate the CF slot. Remove the old CF card (Figure 5-5).
