E.2.2 Windows XP OS
To configure the Realtek HD Audio Manger in a Windows XP OS, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
Make sure the Realtek high definition audio driver has been installed on the
system. If the audio driver has not been installed on the system, please refer to
Launch the Realtek HD Audio Manager. Double click either:
The Realtek HD Audio Manager icon in the Notification Area of the system
task bar (Figure E-9), or
The Realtek HD Audio Manager icon in the Control Panel.

Step 3:
The Realtek HD Audio Manager appears (Figure E-10).
