Overview
The Brocade Virtual ADX CLI provides support for managing and executing templates. The
templates exist in the following directories:
• /opt/ADX/tmpl/predef, for predefined templates provided by Brocade that cannot be deleted.
• /opt/ADX/tmpl/ready, for ready-to-use templates that require no user input to execute.
• /opt/ADX/tmpl/userdef, for user-defined templates that contain variables for user input before
execution.
Through the CLI, you can perform the following operations:
• Copying or exporting templates
• Creating a template from an existing template
• Deleting templates
• Validating templates
• Executing templates
• Displaying template information, including a list of templates on the Brocade Virtual ADX, their
contents and execution and validation status.
