5.7.5.1 Uniformity Bandwidth

The Uniformity Bandwidth is a percentage that is used to determine the

permitted weight offset to consider a bird as a being uniform or not. For

example, if the uniformity bandwidth is set to 10%, all birds weighing more

or less than 10% from the average bird weight are considered as uniform

birds. This value can be adjusted from 3 to 50%.

Select the "8. Installation" menu from the main menu then press the

right-arrow key. Note that this menu is only accessible from the installer

mode.

Select the "3. Other Settings" menu

then press the right-arrow key. The

uniformity bandwidth flashes on the

display.

Use the adjustment buttons to set the

uniformity bandwidth to the desired

value.

5.7.5.2 Uniformity Error

The Uniformity Error is a percentage that is used to define the permitted

weight offset to consider a weight as a bird or not. For example, if the

uniformity error is set to 25%, all the weights that are higher or lower than

25% from the average bird weight are not be considered as being bird weights

and are not logged into the controller. The high and low uniformity error

weight range must be defined separately.

It is NOT suggested to change the initial value of this parameter!

By default, the Uniformity Error is set to +/- 25% from the

average bird weight.
