5.5 Attachment Points of Door
CAUTION!
Framing material must be of sufficient strength for securing screws.
When sizing the clear opening for attachment of the door, pay close attention to the following
guidelines. Fasteners mount through outer flanges of door to secure door in place. Flange widths
are shown in Diagram 3.
1. After assembling door, make sure that door is plumb & square. See Diagram 5.
2. The Head Unit has pre-drilled holes for fastening to horizontal
framing. Make sure that Head Unit will align with framing
structure.
3. The vertical members attach to framing by
mounting through outer flanges of vertical
members. Make sure outer flanges overlap
with framing structure.
