12. DESUPERHEATER

The heating capacity obtained by

the desuperheater is attained by

multiplying the nominal value (Pd),

given in table 14.1.2. by a relevant

coefficient (Cd).

The diagrams allow to obtain

the corrective coefficients to use

depending on the temperature of the

external air and the temperature of the

water produced at the desuperheater.

NOTE

The use of the desuperheater

is possible in cooling function;

for heat function it must be

intercepted.

12.1. PRESSURE DROPS

All sized models with desuperheater

have 1 desuperheater.

The features of the desuperheater and

the pressure drop curves are given

below.

For Water Temperature °C values,

different from 50°C, multiply the result

obtained by corrective factor.
