Secure documents are protected by a password and only those people who know the password will be able
to print the document. The machine will not print the document when you send it for printing. To print the
document, you must enter the password at the Touchscreen of the machine. Secure documents will be
deleted after they are printed once.

When the area to spool documents is full, the Touchscreen displays Print Data Full. Press

to return

to the Home screen.
To delete the spooled print job, you must delete it at the Touchpanel.

NOTE

• Secure documents will be deleted when the machine is turned off.
• If you wait 60 seconds to continue the Touchscreen operation, the Secure Print setting will close and the

Touchscreen will return to the Home screen.

Press Secure.

Press s or t to choose the user name, and then press it.

Press s or t to choose the job, and then press it.

Enter the registered four-digit password.
To enter each digit, use the keyboard on the machine's Touchscreen, and then press OK,

(see Entering Text on page 108).

Press + or - to enter the number of copies you want.

g

Press Start.

NOTE

To delete the secure document from the memory, replace steps f - g with the following step:

• Press Delete, and then press Yes.

The Touchscreen displays Deleted and returns to the Home screen.
