If you prefer, you can enter manually the details of the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to or
you can connect directly to a Wi-Fi enabled device. Follow the instructions on the screen to
complete the connection wizard.
After step 2 in the Searching for Access Points procedure (A 12):

Select [Manual] and then press SET.

Select the wireless connection mode
and then press SET.
[Infrastructure]: Configure manually a connection
to a Wi-Fi network via a wireless
router.
[AP 11b/g/n]*: Direct connection in AP mode to a
Wi-Fi enabled device using the
2.4 GHz band.
[AP 11a/n]*: Direct connection in AP mode to a
Wi-Fi enabled device using the
5 GHz band.
[Ad Hoc 11b/g]**: Direct Ad Hoc connection to a
Wi-Fi enabled computer or other
device using the 2.4 GHz band.
[Ad Hoc 11a]**: Direct Ad Hoc connection to a
Wi-Fi enabled computer or other
device using the 5 GHz band.

Enter the Wi-Fi network’s name (SSID).
Select [Input] and then press SET to open the
keyboard screen.
Use the joystick or turn the SELECT dial to select
a character and then press SET to add it. Repeat
as necessary to enter the SSID.
After entering the SSID, select [OK] and then
press SET.
Select [OK] and then press set.
