b. To unseat the PCI riser boards, lift the assembly, and then remove the cage.
Install the PCI riser cage
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the server or expansion boards, power down the server and
remove all AC power cords before removing or installing the PCI riser cage.
1. Align the PCI riser boards with the corresponding connectors on the system board, and then insert the
cage.
2. Insert and then tighten the three screws of the PCI cage.
3. Install the processor air baffle (on page 20 ).
4. Install the access panel (on page 19 ).
5. Slide the server into the rack.
6. Connect each power cord to the server.
