Open the Cover Page menu, and then select whether to print the cover page Before

Document or After Document.

In the Cover Page Type menu, select the message that you want to print on the cover page.

NOTE:

To print a blank cover page, select Standard as the Cover Page Type.

Print multiple pages on one sheet of paper in Macintosh

You can print more than one page on a single sheet of paper. This feature provides a cost-effective way

to print draft pages.

1.

On the File menu, click Print.

2.

Select the driver.

Open the Layout menu.

4.

Next to Pages per Sheet, select the number of pages that you want to print on each sheet (1,

2, 4, 6, 9, or 16).

5.

Next to Layout Direction, select the order and placement of the pages on the sheet.

Next to Borders, select the type of border to print around each page on the sheet.

Insert enough paper into the input tray to accommodate the print job. If you are loading special

paper such as letterhead, load it face-down in the tray.

On the File menu, click Print.

Mac OS X v10.4: In the Layout drop-down list, select the Long-edged binding item or the

Short-edged binding item.

Mac OS X v10.5 and v10.6: Click the Two-sided check box.

4.

Click Print. Follow the instructions in the dialog box that opens on the computer screen before

placing the output stack in the tray for printing the second half.
