Meaning Option
Specifies whether Hyper-Threading should be enabled
or not. The valid values for flag are: [-T flag]

y — enables Hyper-Threading, which allows multiple
threads to run concurrently on each CPU.
◦
n — disables Hyper-Threading, this is the default
value.
Specifies the memory granularity (ILM or SLM) in MB
for the nPartition. If this option is not specified, the [-G memory_granularity_type]
default granularity chosen will be 1024 MB. The
minimum memory granularity supported is 256 MB
Specifies the Intended Active value of the resource type
for the nPartition. The valid value for res_type is [-n res_type:IA_value]
case-insensitive core. The ia_value has to be a positive
number which will be passed to the iCAP software as
a hint requested by the user as the Intended Active value
for activation in the nPartition.
Specify an optional nPartition number or name for the
nPartition. The nParition id can be specified as an [-p nPartitionId]
nParition number or an nPartition name. If the specified
nPartitionId has only numeric characters, it is considered
an nPartition number. If an nPartition name is provided,
it should have at least one of the following non-numberic
characters

_ (underscore)

. (period)
Any other non-numeric character is not allowed in a
partition name.
If the –p option is not specified, an nPar number is
automatically assigned to the created nPartition. If –P
<name> is also not specified, a default name in the
format nPartition<4 digit nPartition num> is given to the
nPar.
User specified max value for blades or vPars in an nPar.
The nPar will not be allowed to have more than the
max_value for the type specified. [-M type:max_value]
Specifies whether the hard partition has to be booted
as a single nPar or as one or more vPars as defined in [-N mode]
the vpdb in the parspec. The valid values for mode are
case-insensitive vPars and nPars. By default, a hard
partition is booted as a single nPar.
Sets the parspec change policy. The change policy has
values of enable and disable. By default, the policy [-X parspec:[change_policy]]
is enable. If the policy is set to enable, partition
management software modifies parspecs to reflect the
resource assignment changes done to the partition at
boot time. If policy is set to disable, partition
management software fails the boot if any of the
