Scheduling the HP SIM Data Exchange
OpenView Service Desk provides command line utilities for various data exchange tasks. One of these
tools (
sd_exchange.bat
) can be used to import data from the HP SIM database. A sample script is
included (
hpsimexchange.bat
) that executes the sd_exchange command to export data from the HP
SIM database and then import that data into service.
This script can be scheduled in the Task Scheduler to provide periodic updates to the Service Desk
database from Systems Insight Manager.
