LDEV to Security Group Dialog Box

The LDEV to Security Group dialog box opens when you make either of these selections in the
Volume Security window:

Right-click a host from the upper-right table, then select LDEV to Security Group from the pop-up
menu

Right-click an item in the tree view of the Volume Security window, select List , then LDEV to
Security Group from the pop-up menu. The List -> LDEV to Security Group command is
unavailable if you select a security group and right-click a host group or LDEV group from
below the security group.

You can use this dialog box to specify a volume and view security groups in which the volume is
registered (see

(page 147)

).

Item

LDKC number.

LDKC

Specifies the CU image number.

CU

Lists host groups in which the CU is registered.

LDEV table

LDEV indicates the number assigned to an LDEV.

Emulation indicates the emulation types of the volumes.

Note: A volume ID ending in # (for example, 00#) indicates the volume is an
external volume.

Lists security groups in which the specified volume is registered.

Security Group

Security Group indicates the name of the security group.

Security indicates whether the security settings in the security group are
Enabled or Disabled.

Group Status indicates whether the security group is an Access or a Pool
group.

T-VOL/S-VOL indicates whether volumes in the security group can be used
as secondary volumes (copy destination volumes). Enable indicates the volumes
can be used as secondary volumes. Disable indicates the volumes cannot be
used as secondary volumes.

Closes the dialog box.
