GM LS-Series 1pc MAF Supplemental Instructions

Follow the Stage 1 EFI instructions for the installation of the bottle mounting, testing, safety, and tuning tips. The

following photos and text will show the installation of the 1pc MAF nitrous, fuel delivery unit.

1. Remove the air boot between the Mass-Air Sensor and Throttle Body. (Illustration 1)

2. Disconnect the wiring harness for the Mass-Air Sensor. (Illustration 2)

3. Remove the mass air flow unit from the air box by loosening both remaining clamps.

4. After removal of the Mass-Air housing, you will need to cut your housing using a hacksaw. In Illustration 4,

you will see where to cut the housing. Illustration 24 shows a larger image of this.

5. Place the housing in a vise. To keep the housing from being distorted, clamp on the top and bottom of the

metal side of the housing. (Illustration 5)

6. Now using a hacksaw, slowly cut the housing as shown in Illustration 6.

7. Illustration 7 shows the cut half, you must apply a bead of silicone to the cut portion. Align the stock housing

with the Billet NX housing and bolt together using the supplied bolts. (Illustration 8-10)

8. Install your weather pack terminals according to Illustration 23

9. Reinstall the MAF housing in the stock location. (Illustration 12)

10. Route the supplied wiring harness along the Drivers Side frame rail. Now plug the Male weather pack

connector into the Female terminals that have been installed on the Solenoids. (Illustration 13)

11. Install the Black power wire the power terminal on your alternator. (Illustration 14) Then route the red

wire loop to the interior of the vehicle and connect to the Accessory terminal of your toggle switch.

12. The best possible TPAS switch location for the Corvette is in the battery box. Using the supplied T-Tap,

we tapped into the blue wire on the Corvette for our TPS signal. (Illustration 16-17)

13. Fuel is supplied through the Schrader valve, located on the end of the Drivers Side fuel rail. The plastic cap

must be removed. Then using a valve stem removal tool, unscrew the Schrader valve out of the center of

it. Now thread the Fuel Feedline hose directly to the Schrader valve. (Illustration 18-20)

14. Install the proper jets into the jet fitting in the MAF housing, making note which one is Nitrous and Fuel.

Once the jets are installed you may thread the Nitrous and fuel lines over the jets. Make sure all

hoses are tight and their are no leaks.

15. Now following the wiring schematic, double check the wiring and refer to the “Testing and using the

system” Section of your Stage 1 EFI instructions to finish the installation.
