TV ASPECT
"TV Aspect" sets the aspect of the video signal output to the
connected TV set.
There are 2 options.
The default setting is "16:9 (WIDE TV):S1".
If connected TV has a wide screen (16:9), you need to change
the default setting. Refer to " WIDE TV".
If connected TV has a conventional size screen (4:3), refer to
"NORMAL TV". Change setting if preferred.

Forcibry S-Video Output to S1
Automatically Selected to S1 / S2
Choice the Output S-Video mode

Forcibly S-Video Output to S1
Select this option when connecting to a wide TV which does
not support S2.
Automatically Selected to S1/S2
Select this option when connecting to a wide TV which supports
S2. The long-wide ratio is automatically changed according to
a disc played.

Press SET UP to exit the setup menu.
NOTE
The display will not change to wide ratio if your TV set is not
connected via the S-VIDEO OUT jack.

LETTER BOX
PAN & SCAN
Choice the TV Mode
LETTER BOX
Media recorded in wide (16:9) format will be played in "letterbox"
style, with black bands at the top and bottom of the screen.
PAN & SCAN
Media recorded in wide (16:9) format will be played at the full
screen height, with the left and right portions cut off, for media
which contains pan-scan encoding. Other media will be played
in "letterbox" style.
