Enter Function setting mode
Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.

Select Text display selection mode
The item can be selected and determined as
follows.
“Settings”
> “DISP&ILLUMI” > “Display Select” >
“Text Select”
To select the item, turn the Control knob. To
determine the item, press the Control knob.

Select the text display part
Push the Control knob towards up or down.
The selected text display part blinks.

Select the text
Turn the Control knob.

Exit Function setting mode
Press the [ ] button for at least 1 second.

• If the selected display item does not have any information,
alternative information is displayed.
• Setting is available when the Display type is A or B which
allows text display. Refer to
<Selecting display type> (page
24) .
• Some items cannot be selected depending on the display
type and row.
• When selecting “Folder name” while playing with iPod,
names will be displayed depending on currently selected
browsing items.
• If the iPod Control by Hand Mode is set to on while playing
the iPod, “iPod by Hand Mode” is displayed.
• If all characters cannot be displayed while playing with iPod,
the file number in the list is displayed.

Select the Display select mode
The item can be selected and determined as

> “DISP&ILLUMI” > “Display Select”
To select the item, turn the Control knob. To
determine the item, press the Control knob.

Select the desired Information display setting
item
Turn the Control knob to select Display setting
item, and then press the Control knob.

“Side Select” Sets the side part display for Type A, B, and D.

spectrum analyzer display.

each function) for Type A and B.

Set the Display setting item
Turn the Control knob to select desired value,
and then press the Control knob.
The previous item is displayed.
