Setting a voice command for category

Add a voice tag to the phone number category
(type) for voice calling.

Enter Bluetooth mode

KDC-BT51U

Press the [ ] button.

KDC-5751SD

KDC-5051U

Press the [LOG] button for at least 1 second.
“BT MODE” is displayed.

Enter Function setting mode
Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.

Select Phonebook type edit mode
The item can be selected and determined as
follows.
“Settings”

“Voice Tag”

>

“PN Type Edit”

To select the item, turn the Control knob. To
determine the item, press the Control knob.

Select the category (type) you wish to set
Turn the Control knob to select category name,
and then press the Control knob.
“General”/ “Home”/ “Office”/ “Mobile”/ “Other”

Select a mode
Turn the Control knob.

Display

Operation

“Register”

Register a voice tag.

“Check”*

Play a voice tag.

“Delete”*

Delete a voice tag.

* KCA-BT300/BT200 only. Displayed only when a name for

which a voice tag has been registered is selected.

Register the category (type) by performing
steps 6 to 7 in

<Adding a voice dialing

command> (page 48)

Exit Bluetooth mode
Press the [SRC] button.

Set the voice tag for all the 5 categories. If the voice tag is
not registered for all the categories, the Phonebook may
not be recalled by voice command.
