Starting a Management Session
In order to manage an AT-8524M switch using command line
commands, you must first start a local or Telnet management session.
For instructions, refer to the AT-S62 Software Management User’s
Guide.
Once you have started the management session, you will see the AT-S62
Main Menu, which contains the following option:
C - Command Line Interface
Type C to display the command line prompt. The prompt will differ
depending on whether you logged in as Manager or Operator. If you
logged in as Manager, you will see “$#.” If you logged in as Operator, you
will see “$$.” You can now manage the switch with the command line
commands.
Note
Web browser management does not support the command line
interface.
