Editing Still Images
Editing Features
Use the COOLPIX L810 to edit images in-camera and save them as separate files (
E69). The
editing functions described below are available.
Editing function Description
D-Lighting (E10)
Create a copy of the current image with enhanced brightness and
contrast, brightening dark portions of the image.
Skin softening (E11) Make the skin tones in human faces smoother.
Small picture (E12) Create a small copy of images suitable for use as e-mail attachments.
Crop (E13)
Crop a portion of the image. Use to zoom in on a subject or arrange a
composition.

Notes About Image Editing
• Images captured at an Image mode ( A 62) setting of g 4608×2592 and images captured
using 3D photography ( A 43) cannot be edited.
• This camera cannot edit images captured with another make or model of digital camera.
• If no face is detected in an image, a copy cannot be created using the skin softening function ( E11).
• When using a different model of digital camera, images edited with this camera may not be
displayed properly and may not be able to be transferred to a computer.
• Editing functions are not available when there is not enough free space in the internal memory or
on the memory card.
