Removing Memory Cards
Memory cards can be removed without loss of data when the camera is off. Be fore
removing the mem o ry card, wait for the green card access lamp next to the card slot
cover to go out and then turn the camera off. Do
NOT
at tempt to remove the card
while the ac cess lamp is on. Failure to observe this
pre cau tion could re sult in loss of data or in damage to
the cam era or card. Open card slot cover and press the
eject but ton to par tial ly eject the card (
ᕃ). The card
can then be removed by hand (
ᕄ). Do not push on the
memory card while pressing the eject button. Failure
to observe this precaution could damage the memory
card.
Note that memory cards may be hot after use. Observe
due caution when removing memory cards from the
camera.
No Memory Card
If no memory card is inserted in the camera when
charged batteries are in place or the camera is pow ered
by an AC adapt er,
will appear in the ex po sure-
count display .
